This ad is one of my favorite one.
It’s an ad for Orangina (a french soft drink).
This ad campaign is organised around the theme “Sup d’Orangina”. The idea is that a school teaches to people how to shake and drink a bottle of Orangina and it makes the best Orangina drinker in the world.
I like the concept, it makes me think about the management and business school I’m studying in. In the school “Sup d’Orangina” students also have t-shirts with logo displaying their school, they have sports rooms and lecture halls…Besides they have a real school culture like in every business or engineering school.
You will see one of the ad broadcasted on TV, sorry but it is in french!!!

A few month ago I saw in the street several posters like these.

Dove lauched an advertising campaign for skin products using unexpected models. In fact, the company employed real women with real figures to promote this product. These women are between 19 and 60 years old and they don’t have the stereotypal form of beauty.
It was high time that a company like Dove decide to use real women instead of gorgeous supermodels touched up by computer. We can identify ourself with the women on the picture.
The campaign was first launched in the UK and thanks to it the sales increased by 700%. Besides at that time, the ad campaign keep the attention of many people, may be this kind of ad could the ad of the future…
Nevertheless, I am not sure that people would be ready to see the picture of such a woman combine with a mighty and red car!!
I heard about this ad last week on the radio.
The famous italian photographer Olivero Toscani, well known thanks to Benetton advertising campaign, decided to launch a campaign against anorexy. This ad was published first in Italy during the fashion week to promote the brand No-L-Ita. But in France the Advertising checking office (BVP) thought it was too shocking especially for children and teens so they decided to prohibit the publication of this ad.
The woman on the picture is Isabelle Caro, a french actress. She is anorexic since she was 13. By posing nude in front of the photograph, she hopes to make understand to the victims the dangers of this disease.
This advertising campaign differs from advertising campaigns we saw every day. Toscani choose the best moment to published the most shocking photo. When I saw this picture for the first time I was really affected by the body of the woman. But now, I think she is very brave and I feel respect for her.
This is my new weblog. It aims to show you different kinds of ads I saw on the Internet or in magazines. It could be about Fashion, food or cars but these ads must have in common their originality! I hope you will enjoy this trip in the advertising world!
